HANDY FRANK

Handy Frank is a personal project created for my dad, who recently retired after 35 years at UPS. After spending decades working hard and staying active, retirement was less about slowing down and more about finding a new way to keep busy. He has always been the person who is ready to grab his tools and lend a hand, so starting a small handyman service felt like a natural next chapter.

For the branding, I wanted to take a different route from the traditionally masculine, rugged visual language often associated with handyman and repair services. Instead, Handy Frank is playful, colorful, approachable, and full of personality. Hand-drawn illustrations, bold typography, whimsical graphics, and a touch of humor create an identity that reflects my dad’s friendly character while making the service feel welcoming to a broader audience. The result is a brand that treats home repair with a little more warmth and a lot more personality—just like Frank himself.
